Heals
— Samuel Hahnemann (The Founder of Homeopathy)
The Body Tells A Story—
Your body is speaking to you. It is communicating what is happening within through external symptoms. Your thought patterns, tendencies towards negative or positive emotions, physical ailments, and presentations all unilaterally stem from an underlying energetic form. Homeopathy addresses any imbalances on this level and triggers them to regulate and balance. This widespread healing response can be felt on every level and has a deep-rooted potential to improve your quality of life.
The Origin of Homeopathy—
Samuel Hahnemann was a German physician who applied the law of similars to medicinal treatment of a variety of conditions. The law of similars was described by Hippocrates, Paracelsus, and cultures such as the Mayans, Chinese, Greeks, Native American Indians, Asian Indians, and more. Hahnemann arranged this law into a systematic medical science. Hahnemann was a respected chemist, avid researcher, and well-versed in many different scientific/medical texts and was translating them from an early age. He authored a volume set of books referred to as The Pharmaceutical Lexicon which stood as the standard reference text for apothecaries/pharmacists of his time. Hahnemann was bold, vivacious, and unapologetic in his standings. He spoke his mind regardless of whom it may have offended, always explored any avenues for medicinal treatment and approach, and was determined to navigate this world and share his findings. Due to the nature of homeopathy and the care required in creating and dispensing remedies, Hahnemann had to move to Kothen where he was granted special permission to practice and dispense his medicine. He was granted this privilege by Grande Duke Ferdinand. Hahnemann’s homeopathic treatment was largely favored and advocated on behalf of European Royalty, religious leaders, literary professionals, American entrepreneurs, and more. Homeopathy continued to grow despite its criticism and persecution. Homeopathic doctors were graduates of the same medical schools as “traditional” physicians and therefore were difficult to discredit in regards to intelligence and training. One of the core elements that further created distrust and contempt between orthodox physicians and homeopaths is that homeopathic doctors discredited and critiqued the use of conventional drugs due to their suppressive nature. Similar to the ongoing battle today, holistic medicine is weary of the suppression and masking of symptoms the body produces. It is commonly agreed upon in natural healing that to avoid and prevent deeply rooted conditions and disease the body must be free to express symptoms. Not only are they relevant to self-regulate, but these symptoms are essential to the selection of a remedy/medicine for each individual. Homeopathy relies on idiosyncratic symptoms to select the proper remedy needed to stimulate the healing response.
In 1825 Hans Grams a Dutch Homeopath migrated to the United States thus triggering the widespread use of homeopathy in the States. Its rapid growth led to the formation of the American Institute of Homeopathy which became the first national medical society in America. Shortly after the American Medical Association was founded, and there has been tension and disagreement since. There always has been and continues to be animosity towards homeopathic treatment by the standard medical system in America and other countries as well. Shortly after A.M.A. was founded they purged all local medical societies of physicians who were homeopaths. This spread throughout the country. Their dislike and hatred ran so deep that in 1855 the A.M.A. established a code of ethics that states any orthodox physician would lose their membership in the A.M.A. if they so much as consulted with a homeopath. During this period the loss of their membership meant losing their medical license and they would no longer be allowed to practice medicine. The A.M.A. has expensed great effort to oppose and prevent the education of homeopaths.
In the 1830s Austria made the practice of homeopathy illegal. Despite this many still used homeopathy principles during the cholera epidemic of 1831. Statistics show that those treated with homeopathy had a mortality rate between 2.4 to 21.1% and over 50% of individuals treated under conventional medicine died. (1) The attacks and war on homeopathy were not founded on any scientific evaluation ion its healing effects but stemmed primarily from the competition and difference in approach between conventional physicians and homeopathic physicians. While homeopaths are still brutally attacked by many American doctors— Despite all of their efforts to eradicate homeopathic medicine it has persevered and the magnificent benefits and healing effects remain available to us today.
The basics of homeopathy—
As mentioned above, homeopathy was created based on the law of similars. In addition to this law, the potency is a critical element in homeopathic medicine. There are varying potencies available and each is created from minimal doses of substances (from plants, animals, and minerals). The most effective results stem from the smallest potency needed to stimulate a healing response. In other words, you want to use the lowest potency that will trigger the healing response in the body. Homeopathy is a system of medicine that works on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels simultaneously. Its ability to work through each level is what causes a profound healing response that can be felt and experienced in all aspects of well-being. Your mental state, physical symptoms, and emotional balance all can balance and function in harmony. You can feel the relief in these areas rapidly. In addition to its ability to stimulate this regulation and healing response— remedies are also selected based on the symptoms of each system. They are gentle and safe for all ages as they have no negative side effects. There is a remedy for chronic diseases and infections such as measles, rabies, and various cases of flu all the way to snake bites, migraines, epilepsy, behavioral disorders, and more.
The potential and capacity to heal from homeopathy is endless, In our support systems section we have compiled wonderful homeopaths and other learning resources.
Acute presentations: These are scenarios that come on quickly and are short-term in nature. For example Fevers from illness, allergic reactions, the stomach flu, surgical procedures, spider bites, etc. Ideally, the use of homeopathy should be reserved for times when the body is clearly in a state that needs support to shift to an improved state. For example, if you have a mild headache it does not necessarily mean to grab a remedy and go after it. Only if that headache progresses and the body is having a tough time resolving it on its own would it be warranted to select a remedy. With that being said, there is no harm done by taking them, but of course, let your body do its thing. It is wise beyond belief.
Constitutional remedies: Chronic/long-term/ongoing symptoms rooted in deeper dysfunction warrant a constitutional remedy. A classical homeopath prescribes one remedy that covers the totality of the symptoms presenting. An individual would have an in-depth consultation to discuss all of their current symptoms as well as the history of symptoms and reoccurring patterns (including emotions, thoughts, genetic components, and physical dysfunctions), and then their homeopath would find the remedy that meets the highest range of these symptoms. They will dispense the remedy and potency and relay how to take them. After administering, the body will then respond to the remedy over a few weeks and that continues for several months. Communication is ongoing during this time and as symptoms resolve, transition, and resurface the homeopath and treated individual will work together to continue to tailor the remedy/dosing instructions to their specific situation and needs. This type of care is deeply intimate and highly effective. Individuals find tremendous outcomes from lifelong conditions through the use of constitutional remedies. They address susceptibility at its most core form and provide the deepest support for the body to be able to revive, restore, and self-heal. No condition or illness cannot be supported through the use of homeopathy. There are endless success stories ranging from epilepsy, skin conditions, behavioral presentations (including neurodivergent presentations), PTSD, OCD, mold-related symptoms, reoccurring infections, and newborn GI upset, to energy levels and all that lies between.
Who is it for?
Everyone. Any age, pregnant women, children, infants, adults, animals. Anyone can benefit from homeopathy.
Do I have to work with a homeopath?
Nope. However, for chronic ongoing situations, it is incredibly worthwhile to work with a classical homeopath. Their expertise and knowledge are irreplaceable and incredibly worthwhile. It is a gift to be on the receiving end of their wisdom and skills. They truly do embody what it means to be a “healer” in its most pure form. With that being said, homeopathy is well worth the study to apply to yourself and your family for acute situations that can present on a daily/unpredictable basis. Cell Salts
Dr. Schuessler took the thousands of homeopathic medicines and condensed them into twelve basic remedies that were then combined with minerals. Just as with homeopathy these minerals are prepared in minute doses. This makes them incredibly effective for your cells to utilize therefor stimulating a stronger healing response. Cell salts otherwise known as tissue salts are made from 11 elements essential to bodily functions and systems to form 12 different salts. They’re composed of varying forms of Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium, Silica, Chloride, Fluoride, Oxygen, Phosphorus, and Sulphur. These minerals and cell salts are geared towards many symptoms including those of physical and emotional nature. There are 12 different salts and a combination salt which includes all 12 in one.
Cell salts stem from homeopathy which has been proven effective for over 200 years. It is derived to stimulate the body’s curative response so it can self-heal. The difference between cell salts and homeopathic remedies is that salts work on both the energetic and nutrient levels together by condensing homeopathic medicine into twelve remedies and then combining them with minerals.
When you take a cell salt you are providing your body a micro-nutrient (mineral). Due to the form of the minerals used (fine powder) they are able to bypass the digestive system to be absorbed by our cells. They rebuild organ and tissue cells. They are an incredibly effective, yet gentle healing modality that can create balance within the body. In addition to replenishing mineral stores, they also work to restore harmony when there may be excess minerals. Minerals are both synergistic and antagonistic which means that when not in balance they negatively impact one another regardless of whether it is from a deficient or excessive place.
They can be used in acute situations (for immediate relief of a symptom) or in long-term scenarios where deeper healing and support are needed.

Flower Essences
Flower essences are diluted herbal infusions or decoctions prepared from wildflowers and pristine garden blossoms. They are potent liquid extracts used to address the mind, body, and soul. They target emotional well-being and are a part of energy medicine. The process of extraction creates an energetic imprint of the engird pattern from the flower. This is achieved by being made in nature surrounded by the elements of earth, water, air, and fire. The harmonious balance of nature’s elements is combined with careful preparation. Blossoms are harvested in the early morning of a sunny day and are left to float in water for several hours underneath the sun. The healing effects of the plant are preserved with organic grape alcohol and then further diluted to be portioned and sold in the liquid tincture bottles found in stores and by practitioners. It is a very delicate process of harvest and creation, one that beautifully goes in hand with its impacts on the body.
There is a long list of essences available depending on the emotional presentation at hand. They can be combined, or taken individually. You can find combination remedies crafted by highly skilled practitioners to offer deep support for a wide variety of issues. The essences combine and work together in specific ways, so when combining it is important to take note of this or rely on premixed solutions offered by different brands.
Essences stimulate healing by allowing the energetic body to more effectively communicate with the physical body. In other words, you are more able to become attuned to what conflicts/obstacles are hindering growth and healing and will be better equipped to resolve them ultimately moving you further into harmony and a state of balance. It can take time for this effect to present and of course, as mentioned in the concept of gemmotherapy section the other elements of our well-being should be considered as well to optimize the results of all energy/natural/holistic medicine.
