The United States has not set any limits on safe levels of over 160 water contaminants. Most of the population is drinking water with highly toxic and dangerous chemicals like: chromium( think Erin Brockovich), nitrate, and excessive amounts of chlorine and fluoride. More and more studies are coming out linking our drinking water to cancers and various chronic conditions. 92% of our hydration needs to be taken in through the food we eat or water (and other liquids). We bathe in water and absorb it through our skin. It is essential to prioritize a safe water source to not only drastically decrease the toxins we consume, but to take off the tremendous burden put onto our bodily systems from these chemicals. Main water sources are also heavily concentrated in micro plastics, pharmaceuticals, parasites, metals, and more. What about bottled water? Nearly all sources of bottled water are just tap water that is put into a plastic bottle.
